The metabolism map shows the network of biochemical reactions. The metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, amino acids and energy metabolism are shown on the interlinked competence levels I-III. The entry-level (I) offers an overview of some reactions. On levels II and III, the presentation is more comprehensive and detailed. On the expert level (III), there are references to hereditary diseases. The level-specific representation of chemical formulae, names of enzymes, factors, and transporters can be made visible by tapping. Overview chapters (synopsis) summarise metabolic pathways. There is a search function and the possibility to mark areas, attach notes and set bookmarks.
