Polly is a cloud service that uses deep learning technologies to synthesize speech that sounds like a human voice. This is a paid feature, and requires an Evie account. Evie offers simple in-app purchases in a pay-as-you-go model. LEARN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE WITH EVIE Have Evie repeat each sentence multiple times, then optionally wait for you to repeat. The key to speaking the language is memorization through repetition. READ A BOOK IN A LANGUAGE YOU DON'T KNOW Evie can translate each sentence on the fly, then read the translation out loud to you. Evie uses the excellent Amazon Neural translation engine, supporting more than 70 languages. This is a paid feature, and requires an Evie account.
