Shambala has been a legendary party for over two decades. One of the last remaining truly independent festivals in the UK, without a brand sponsor in sight, the variety of entertainment on offer is staggering for a festival of this size, with hundreds of diverse musical acts, world-class circus, an amazing array of workshops, inspirational talks, art installations, nationally acclaimed poetry and one of the best kids areas on the festival circuit. Shambala is also a pioneering green event; we are meat and fish free, single use plastic free, 100% renewably powered and have reduced our carbon footprint by almost 90% in the past decade. The app is designed to help you explore all the amazing things that are going on, find your way around site and create your own schedule of things you really want to catch. Notifications will remind you of events you have favourited, 15 minutes before they start so you don't miss anything. It gives you access to the festivals line-up, food trader and bar menus, emergency contact details and other key information. You can even drop a pin on the map so you don’t forget where your tent is! You can also use the app year round to access a calendar of amazing community events taking place outside of Shambala - which you're all invited to add to. We’ve also got all manner of exclusive mixes and every episode of the Shambala Speaks podcast for your listening pleasure, in the Sounds of Shambala section. This is no ordinary festival app - it's bespoke, built by us and puts your data privacy and anonymity to the fore. You are not required to register with personal details, nor link to your social accounts. To get the most out of the app you will need to accept location services and notifications, but we are not retrieving or collecting any identification information.
