Great games for young readers in one app, WordWorks! helps children learn how words are formed from vowel and syllable patterns, base words, suffixes, and prefixes. The games included in WordWorks! are: - Build That Word! - Sort It Out! In Build That Word!, children hear a word, and then assemble the word by ordering letters or groups of letters. In Sort It Out!, children categorize words based on spelling, sound, or other attributes. Both games include fun animations as children progress through the games. WordWorks! is published by Center for the Collaborative Classroom, a leader in English Language Arts curricula that synergize academic achievement and Social-Emotional development. It is based on word games included in Collaborative Classroom’s Being a Reader© word study scope and sequence for grade 2. Note that the games in WordWorks! are organized by the weeks in which they appear in Being a Readerⓒ grade 2.
