Roam: WiFi that Rewards You vs Wi-Fi Monitor Usage & Stats
Roam is a Web 3 app that revolutionizes how you connect to WiFi. With Roam, users can add any public or private WiFi to the network map. Users can discover and connect to nearby WiFi networks on the map seamlessly. Users who add new WiFi networks or connect to WiFi using the map earn Roam Points. Roam's strength lies in its ability to safely provide seamless WiFi connections while rewarding users for their contributions to the network.
Here is our underlying technology that makes Roam unique:
ROAM POINTS: YOUR GATEWAY TO REWARDS
Roam Points serve as the core of our reward system, designed to make your WiFi connecting experience both engaging and rewarding.
Earn Roam Points: As you complete various in-app activities, you accumulate Roam Points as a reward for contributing to the Roam network. These activities will be detailed further.
Convert to $ROAM Tokens: Once the Token Generation Event (TGE) takes place, you can burn your Roam Points for $ROAM Tokens. This conversion happens in our exclusive burning pool.
Unlock Exciting In-App Events: Roam Points aren’t just for conversion—they’re also your ticket to regular in-app events, such as unlocking mystery boxes, where you can win a range of valuable rewards.
Here is how you earn Roam Points:
ADD WIFI
Every time you add a new public or private WiFi spot to our map, you earn 100 Roam Points.
CHECK-IN
Each time you connect to a WiFi network using the app for the first time each day, you earn 10 Roam Points. With Check-In, you can easily join any WiFi network that’s been added to the Roam map. No more hassle for passwords.
REFERRAL
When you refer a friend to Roam, both you and your friend can earn 30 Roam Points.
OTHER IN-APP ACTIVITIES
Roam offers a variety of engaging activities beyond earning points.
Weekly Check-In Leaderboard: Compete with other users in our weekly leaderboard challenge. The more Check-Ins you complete, the higher you climb. Top performers can win exciting rewards.
External Events: Participate in special events for a chance to receive airdrops and other valuable rewards. These events offer unique opportunities to earn even more and widely stay connected with the Web 3 community.
Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest news and updates about the Roam project directly within the app. Get informed about new features, upcoming events, and all the latest developments.
DECENTRALIZED IDENTITY (DID)
A Decentralized Identity (DID) is a unique digital credential that provides secure access to Roam’s WiFi network. It’s available for free through the Roam app.
DID credentials are verified on the blockchain by a network of nodes without needing a central authority. These routers, functioning as blockchain nodes, validate DIDs to grant access to our global WiFi network.
This decentralized approach means WiFi credentials are not stored centrally, reducing the risk of data breaches.
With DID, Roam ensures a secure, decentralized, and efficient way to access WiFi and beyond.
OPENROAMING
OpenRoaming is a revolutionary feature in Roam’s decentralized WiFi network, designed to simplify your internet access.
OpenRoaming is a global network that provides automatic WiFi connections at millions of locations without the need for traditional login processes or personal information.
OpenRoaming spans over 3 million access points worldwide, including:
With OpenRoaming, Roam makes global WiFi access effortless, secure, and always available.
Still undecided? Download now and discover why over 500 thousand users choose Roam. The Roam app goes beyond traditional wifi apps with its rewarding experience, securing your privacy with DID and blockchain technology.
