RegenVorschau bietet eine kurzfristige Vorhersage der Niederschlagsentwicklung (Regen oder Schnee) für jeden Standort in Deutschland basierend auf Radarmessungen. Nach dem Start der Applikation wird zunächst automatisch der aktuelle Standort bestimmt und danach die entsprechende Vorhersage geladen mit Regenwahrscheinlichkeit und -intensität für die nächsten zwei Stunden. Außerdem kann eine Radar-Karte geladen werden, die den aktuellen Niederschlag und dessen Bewegungsrichtung zeigt. Damit kann die Niederschlagsentwicklung auch für deutlich mehr als zwei Stunden vorhergesehen werden. Neu: Eine Wind-Karte zeigt die Windströmung in unterschiedlichen Höhen (10 m, 1500 m und 3000 m). Damit können Sie die Wettersituation noch besser einschätzen. Niederschlagswolken bewegen sich typischerweise in Höhen zwischen 1500 und 3000 Metern. Per In-App-Kauf kann der Premium-Status erworben werden, um die Werbung auszuschalten und Widgets nutzen zu können einschließlich Regen-Alarmierung (1 Monat Premium-Status für 0,50 EUR, 1 Jahr für 2,99 EUR oder dauerhaft für 8,99 EUR).
