Design Materials vs Eng Mechanics Usage & Stats
Design Materials is an off-line material reference guide trusted by hundreds of Engineers, Architects and Designers all over the World. The App was created to be a personal tool to help me take design decisions during the concept ideation of industrial products, in particular with 3D resins. Due to high demand, I decided to make it public and share it's information and power. Basically, it provides the fundamentals for most design/engineer materials on the market, based on reliable and curated academic sources. In addition, you can now create your own Material or Resin data.
The guide contains material categories such as polymers, metals, naturals and more. All of these include synthetic, organic, bio-degradable, plastic, and much more subcategories. Each material contains information such as: About, Properties, Tags, Applications, Types and Photos.
Other features includes:
• Free Access to 35 materials
• Favorites section
• Offline reference (no Internet needed)
• Long list of properties per material
• Save Notes per material

Eng Mechanics app provides real homework and test problems for the common engineering course called Mechanics of Materials, Deformable Bodies, or just Mechanics. All problems are organized in sections and chapters common to most textbooks. Each problem has a complete solution with graphics to help you better understand how to solve the problem. Also, each problem has a link to a theory web page for that section at the online eBook (eCoursesBook.com). There is no cost for the online eBook, and it can be accessed outside of the app.
The paid version ($3.99) has over 400 problems. There are no ads or in-app purchases. Network connection is required to run the app since all problems are pulled from an online database. Each problem is small (less than 20 k) and are vector-based graphics.
All problems have been used in real engineering classes. Problems are accessed through an online database, so if any errors are identified, they will be updated and the app will use the corrected version. This program is copyrighted and cannot be distributed without the author's written consent.
