La première partie de l’application "Lire Ecouter Voir", donne son nom à l’application et permet, la révision et la confirmation de l'apprentissage de la lecture. Le lecteur débutant analyse les mots classés par graphies et transcrits au choix, avec des couleurs et des polices variées ou en noir avec une police classique. Il vérifie ensuite en écoutant (1er tape) ou en faisant apparaître (2ème tape), l’illustration correspondante. Cette procédure différencie "LireEcouterVoir " d’une application "image/mot", car elle conduit le lecteur débutant dans une démarche d'analyse. Lire c'est en effet appréhender un message. Si l'image est première, n'importe quel enfant saura lire ou croira savoir lire. Agnès Desjobert, Orthophoniste, a proposé l'ajout d’une option "modèle en audio" pour l’adaptation à des utilisateurs, non-lecteurs, malentendants ou aphasiques .
