ODYSSEY Chemical Elements vs Radioactivity- Physics Usage & Stats

The periodic table of the elements provides the most important organizing principle in all of chemistry. At the molecular level, how similar or how different are the alkali metals? What about the halogens or the first row of the transition metals? Examining and comparing molecular models helps with recognizing patterns and retaining information. ODYSSEY Chemical Elements is a support tool that provides a comprehensive set of models. The app includes accurate models for the standard state of almost all elements in the periodic table. Multiple allotropes are available for all common textbook cases. Using simple gestures, the models can be inspected at any orientation and zoom level and examined using different visualization styles. Where applicable, different isotopes can be detected for the different atoms of a given sample. Many models can also be animated in room temperature simulations, highlighting the distinct differences between solids, liquids, and gases. A glossary, comments section, and set of multiple choice questions (with randomized options) complete the app. Learning about atoms, isotopes, and structural similarities between the elements is an important part of the introductory chemistry curriculum. ODYSSEY Chemical Elements aids this learning with hands-on visual evidence.

Radioactivity K12 Learning app helps us to know about Radioactive Decay, Nuclear Fission and Fusion. Our app makes it easy for kids and students to understand the uses and safety measures of Radioactivity. Our objective is to make this science concept simple to understand for students and get in-depth knowledge of the subject. There are three sections in the app: Each section is targeted to develop the student’s skills. Radioactivity app is designed to provide extra help for each and every physics student. Radiation & Radioactivity: This section explains the complete definition of Radiation, Radioactivity and Radioisotopes. *Radioactive Decay - There are three types of Radioactive Decay - namely Alpha Decay, Beta Decay and Gamma Decay based on the respective radiations Alpha, Beta and Gamma radiations. *Nuclear Fission - A large nucleus splits to form two smaller nuclei and some neutrons. This section explains two kinds of Nuclear Fission namely spontaneous fission and Neutron-induced fission. *Nuclear Fusion - Two small nuclei come together and join to form a large nucleus, releasing energy. 2) Uses & Safe Handling: This section explains about Uses & Safe Handling of Radioactive elements. Radioactivity is used for various functionalities in industries and medicine like Smoke detector, Thickness measurement, Leak detection. 3) Quiz: An interactive quiz to check the knowledge with score board. Download the Radioactivity app and other K12 educational apps published by Ajax Media Tech and make your kids shine in science.
