CalCs (short for "Calendar Complications") is a watchOS-only app that provides various calendar-related complications. --- Important Notes --- The functionality embedded in the main body of the app includes only event and reminder list and monthly calendar views. Other functions are carried out via complications or Smart Stack. If you downloaded CalCs from the App Store app on the iPhone, CalCs may not appear on the Apple Watch due to synchronization issues between the iPhone and Apple Watch. In that case, the watchOS-only app cannot be re-downloaded from the App Store app on the iPhone due to specifications set by Apple, Please follow 1 of the steps below to re-download from the App Store app "on Apple Watch". ・Tap the search button in the upper left corner→Search for "CalCs"→"CalCs" ・Scroll to the bottom→"Account"→"Purchased"→"CalCs" ----------------------- Key Features: ●Supports various complications such as date display, event and reminder display, and month calendar display ・Date Display: Displays the current date in various formats. ・Next Event and Reminder Display: Displays next event and reminder synced with iPhone, including all-day event based on user preference. *In circular complications, only the 1st 3 characters of event or reminder titles are displayed. ・Month Calendar Display: Displays the current month's calendar, optionally starting with Monday. It's also possible to display the next event together. There are 5 types: 2 weeks for this week and next week, 3 weeks for last week, this week, and next week, and the 1st half of the month, 2nd half, and all of the month. ●The main body of the app displays a list of event and reminder and monthly calendars In the app launched by tapping complications, it displays event and reminder lists synced with iPhone and monthly calendars. Event and reminder list view allows: ・Scroll to view events and reminders for the previous month, current month, and next 3 months. ・Long tap to scroll to current or next event or reminder. ・Swipe from right to left to switch to month calendar view. *Only incomplete reminders will be displayed. *The ability to add, edit and delete event and reminder, and to complete reminder is not currently implemented. Therefore, CalCs does not guarantee operation on Series 3 and earlier models. ・Due to watchOS complications update restrictions, there may be delays in updates after changes like adding or editing events or reminders on iPhone. ・It may take considerable time from placing complications for them to appear. ・If complications do not update, launching CalCs via complication tap might trigger an update. Please try this if needed. ・If complications still don't update, force quit CalCs and restart it. To force quit: 1. Long press the side button with CalCs open. 2. When the emergency call/power off screen appears, long press the digital crown. If full access to the calendar is not granted the 1st time it is launched, CalCs will not ask for access permission again. In that case, you will need to clear the permission once from the iPhone and re-allow it from CalCs. 1. Open "Calendars" under "Privacy and Security" in the iPhone Settings app. 2. Change the access to the calendar in CalCs to "None" once, and then select "Add Events Only". 3. Tap "Allow full access" when you are asked to allow full access when opening CalCs.
