It does this via Push Notification if the App is not open or via scrolling alert if you're already in the app. WITH KENECT, PRIVACY IS #1 And don't worry, Kenect takes privacy very seriously. No User will ever know exactly where you are, just how far you are away. And, Map features never show which User is where, just unclickable Map Markers that represent your various matches. Note: Background Location tracking may make your battery life drain faster. However, we utilize methods that don't "get" location changes too frequently which minimizes this effect.
