Bronchoscopy is a procedure in which physicians are able to visualize the trachea and the bronchi that supply ventilation to the lungs. This is usually done under some form of anesthesia or sedation, and there is a learning curve in taking on this common operation. Bronchoscopy requires skill and patience to obtain the views needed for a complete study. iBronch uses images from an actual bronchoscopy to show the user typical views of a normal trachea-bronchial tree. Because its a simulation and does not involve a real patient, it can be used to familiarize oneself on the expected images seen on real patients.
