In automatic mode countries are presented at random - you can learn by just watching and listening.

Our series of geography apps are being used successfully by parents, schools and therapists all over the world! The method had been tested thoroughly and it works! Give it a try and see for yourself!
The African continent is divided among over 50 countries! Learn the names and locations of all the countries in Africa with this app that beautifully complements the geography materials used in the Montessori Classroom!
In Lesson #1 learn the names and locations of the African Countries:
Touch a country in the filmstrip to change the featured country on the page. Touch the speaker button to hear the correct pronunciation of the country name and touch the compass button to see the country highlighted on the map. Now this app includes the Flags of Africa, as well! The map itself follows the same color scheme used for the physical materials in the Montessori classroom.
In the next lessons assemble the complete African puzzle map with pieces that are exact replicas of the physical Montessori materials:
In the first puzzle map lesson children have to look for the country puzzle piece that is blinking on the map.
In the second puzzle map lesson children have to look for the country puzzle piece that corresponds to the name shown at the top. For children who cannot read, the country name at the top can be touched to hear the name aloud for them to know which one to look for.
Next is an open puzzle where you can place the pieces in any order you choose. You’ll hear and see the name when each country is placed.
The last activity is the Montessori Pin Flag map where you must find and place the flag of each country onto the map.
This Montessori application was co-developed and approved by an AMI certified, Montessori teacher with over forty years experience educating children!
