Use TimeStory iPad Edition to create graphical timelines--project plans, roadmaps, personal journals, histories, and more, on scales from days to centuries--quickly and easily, while avoiding the complexity of project management tools. TimeStory iPad Edition has the same power and simplicity as TimeStory on Mac, but completely redesigned as a touch-first, native iPad experience.
To create and edit timelines, unlock all features with a two-week free trial, then either a one-time purchase or an annual subscription. If you don't purchase the authoring features, you can still use the app for free to open, view, or export any TimeStory file.
Use natural touchscreen gestures to navigate and scale the timeline. Create an event just by tapping one of the New Event buttons then tapping or dragging on the timeline where you want it. The app also has great support for Apple Pencil, external keyboards, and mice, for faster and more precise editing.
Go further! Attach images from your Photo Library or from files on your iPad. Divide your timeline into multiple sections or subsections. Reconfigure the timeline headers and gridlines to reflect the time units you need. Import your own SVG or PNG icons to mark points in time. Apply a background color vertically, to an event's time range, or horizontally, to the contents of a section. Fine-tune layouts, colors, fonts, and more. Share your work in PDF or PNG format, exporting an entire timeline or just a section of it.
TimeStory iPad Edition also works great in Split View and Stage Manager, and supports multiple windows, so you can open multiple documents at once or keep it open next to your research.
