This app is NOT a game (no dice included). It is a scoring app designed to simplify notation and calculation of scores for various Yatzy-style games. You can select the type of Yatzy and the number of players. This app applies no rules - only suggestions from references. The RESET button clears all scores while preserving player names and settings. Yatzy Variations: The game of Yatzy has spawned numerous variations and rule modifications over the years. The first 10 (Yatzy, Maxi Yatzy, Yachty, Yacht, Cheerio, Crag, Balut, Generala, Cacho, Kismet,Yamb) reflect both cultural and historical developments. The last 6 (Tilt Yatzy, Grand Yatzy, Mini Yatzy, Micro Yatzy, Stereo Yatzy, Mono Yatzy) are innovative versions crafted by DiscoBajas during this app's development. Typically, each player's turn includes up to 3 rolls, with the option to keep any dice and reroll the others. Certain rules prohibit rerolling kept dice within the same turn. Gameplay Modes: - FORCED: Begin at the top and proceed down each category sequentially. - FREE UPPER: Select any category but complete the upper section before starting the lower. - FREE: Choose any category at any time. - CALL: Select any category but before rolling the dice. - LATE CALL: Select any category but before the second roll. Special Modes: - BINGO: Players manage multiple columns. - MARATHON: Rolls, rather than values, are counted. - WILD ONE: All the ones act as jokers (chameleons), halving the score if a joker is used. - DOUBLE CAMEROON: You have twice as many dice and roll them according to the game. At the end of each turn the player has to split the dice in half and score in two categories. BONUS rules can vary and are activated based on any chosen sum, with adaptations for FORCED mode. You will find different bonus info on each game based on our research. SAVE: You van store rolls for later usage. These can be used freely or only at the very next turn. Remember, Yatzy rules are flexible. it’s about how you and your players decide to play. Enjoy the game! To see more apps like this, go to www.discobajas.com
