BeaconTrap vs PinmicroDeviceManager Usage & Stats

BeaconTrap scans for iBeacons in the background and triggers preset actions when the configured preconditions are met. Actions Trigger HTTP Requests and Notifications Enter/Exit Triggers Trigger actions wehen a beacon becomes close or when leaving a beacon's region. Trigger Preconditions Additionally to immediately triggering an action when an iBeacon signal is received, BeaconTrap allows the configuration of the following preconditions: - RSSI threshold You can set a minimum RSSI (signal strength) threshold value for triggering actions - Knock twice The beacon wakes up the app in the background which listens to knock gestures. Knock twice on your device to trigger the action. - Arrival/Departure only Prevents triggering an action when you are leaving a place where you have stayed some time (~10min). This works great for door buzzers, where you only want to open a door uppon arriving at a place. Export Configuration Export your trap configuration to other devices with a shareable link. Have a look at the website for an example configuration. Quick-Actions Swipe to arm/disarm a trap or manually trigger enter/exit actions. Hardware You will need a beacon from Estimote, Gimbal, Radius Networks RadBeacon, Kontakt or from any other iBeacon manufacturer, in order to use this app.
