The cross-country skiing techniques app offers a comprehensive insight into current techniques in the sport. Members of the Swiss national team demonstrate all the steps in both the classic and the skating style. The app is intended especially for team leaders and trainers but also for ambitious skiiers who would like to improve their technique. Short videos show how to execute the individual steps correctly from several different perspectives - in real time, slow motion and with diagrams. In order to study individual movement sequences in greater detail, it is possible to move the pictures both forwards and backwards individually. Still pictures with explanatory texts illustrate the crucial phases of the movement and help users improve their technique so as to ski more efficiently. Once the app has been downloaded, the videos can be played without an Internet connection. Thanks to its functional design, the app can be used directly on the ski trail.
