LH XYZ is an easy-to-use OSC (Open Sound Control) message sender, sending the accelerometer sensor and gyroscope sensor data from your iPhone over the wireless network to any host application supporting OSC protocol to control music.
The host platforms includes MaxMSP, Supercollider, vvvv, Max for Live, Processing, Csound, etc...
With the version 2.0, the feature, AI Motion Recognition -- a technique involving Human Activity Recognition based on smartphone sensor data that can recognize 6 type of your body movements, including idle, vibration and other fast movements, such as moving your phone fast from the left side of your body to the right side, and return the tag values of motion prediction results to OSC receivers (host applications) -- has been added to LH XYZ, helping users to work on some creative and interactive projects with.
LH XYZ offers a high sample rate, 200Hz, of accelerometer sensor data and gyroscope sensor data, making it possible for users to get more details of sensor data.
