Hiragana Matching Materials vs Hiragana blocks Usage & Stats

The app "Educational Hiragana Matching Materials" is designed for children aged 2-6 years and those attending special needs schools to assist in learning Hiragana. It's created by an experienced special needs teacher to save preparation time and improve teaching efficiency. This app helps children recognize Hiragana shapes before they learn to write, addressing the visual and cognitive skills necessary for reading and writing. It features 167 words without complex sounds, adjustable difficulty, and a simple interface for easy use. The words are randomized in each session to focus learning on the Hiragana characters rather than memorization by location. With its matching materials, children can match illustrations with Hiragana characters, enhancing recognition and understanding. The difficulty level is adaptable, allowing for progression as the child's skills improve, from matching fewer characters to more, and increasing the number of questions. The app supports toggling word displays on or off, further challenging the child once they are familiar with the characters. The app is designed for simplicity and repeatability, ensuring engagement and learning through play. Its free access ensures that it is available for all educators, parents, and children. The creators aim for ongoing free updates, maintaining accessibility and continuous learning opportunities. Key skills developed with the app include Hiragana recognition, vocabulary building, visual perception, concentration, and cognitive skills. This educational tool is recommended for early learners and is particularly suitable for those who find it challenging to write, read, or understand Hiragana.
