Count.kcal is a companion app for people that count their calories using apps like MyFitnessPal or Yazio. To reach your weight loss (or weight gain) goals, you need to be in a calorie deficit (or surplus) for a prolonged period of time. This is called the CICO principle (calories in, calories out). Simply put: You will lose weight if you burn more calories than you eat. Use nutritional and burned calorie data from Apple Health to calculate your caloric balance to stay on top of your weight goals. Using Apple Health, you can leverage calorie data from your Apple Watch. Alternatively, you can provide custom burned energy data. Our simple graphs let you quickly see your current calorie balance ("now-mode"). Additionally, the "midnight-mode" will provide you with an estimated end-of-day calorie balance, which takes into account the calories your body will passively burn from now until midnight. This can be useful for knowing what your calorie balance at the end of the day will approximately be after you had dinner, for example. This midnight balance-estimate could also be useful to plan meals that allow you to stay within your daily calorie goals. Calories eaten, calories burned, macros and body weight are all summarized on one single dashboard to help you keep track of your goals. Use home-screen widgets to always keep an eye on your calorie balance. Customize colors to your own taste!  You can also use Count.kcal on your Apple Watch. For quick calorie balance information, use one of many watch face complications or our smart stack widgets.
