WoodValvet vs The Voltour Valve Enhancer Usage & Stats
WoodValvet is a tube emulated saturator with extra features :
- has 3 tube stages each with their own “Drive”control.
- each stage can be set to a different tube type (ECC82, …).
- stage 2 & 3 can be set in series or in parallel to create different harmonics.
- stage 1 & 2 are class A circuits, stage 3 is a class AB circuit.
- an input band filter allows to add harmonics on the selected band only.
- has out-of-band gain control
- filter has selectable slope (12 .. 48 dB/oct)
- a post tube out lowpass filter allows to reduce the higher harmonics.
- a “Constant Level” setting matches the output level with the input level.
- has an LFO to modulate the drive and filter settings.
- side chain input can modulate the drive settings (increase or duck mode).
- has an “Auto Gain Input” mode to automatically bring quiet signals into range.
- has a Stereo spread control.
- has a brick-wall limiter on output
- has a DC blocking output filter
- has an output phase switch.
- has a visual representation of the generated harmonics.
- has oversampling (1 .. 8)
- has an extra inter modulation control for extra distortion.

Nembrini Audio The Voltour 2 Channel All Valve Enhancer plugin is based on Thermionic Culture The Culture Vulture* unit.
BIAS
• T Triode valves and is good for just “warming up” a sound.
• P1 Pentode mode to add odd harmonic which make the sound more aggressive, but retaining that valve character.
• P2 Very unusual way of configuring a valve, even giving an extra octave at higher bias settings.
Extended the possibilities of the original hardware:
• Mix parameter used for parallel processing
• Continuous Filter parameter
• Phase parameter to blend the dry signal with the reversed phase wet signal
• Auto wet output leveling
• Link parameter allows for perfectly matched stereo imaging
Works as a standalone app, AudioUnit v3 effect, or Inter-App Audio effect
