The W-Modbus app has arrived! Upgrade firmware for LumenRadio W-Modbus devices by connecting to and upgrading the LumenRadio Gateway in the network through the app. In the Network map you will find a system overview where you can see signal strength, edit names of wireless nodes as well as seeing the health of the RS485 bus including which Modbus RTU address that is connected to that wireless node.
You can also connect to any node in the network and change their name (up to 20 characters).
The W-Modbus app requires W-Modbus firmware 3.1.1 and above, which can be downloaded from the LumenRadio support webpage. Note that you need to install FW 3.1.1 or above on the gateway from the nRF connect app to enable the functionality. It is also required to have at least 3.0.0 or above on all nodes in the network. You will need to update all nodes individually if they are on version 2.2.3. This will be the last time this is required. All future updates can be done by either this app or from the nRF connect app.
