Dental Age vs AAPD Reference Manual Usage & Stats

This app utilizes Demirjian's system for dental age estimation. The system can be used to estimate the dental age of children between 3 and 16 years old. Panoramic radiograph is necessary to identify the developmental stages of the seven mandibular teeth on the left side (excluding third molars). In case of tooth agenesis or tooth loss in the left side of the mandible, the contralateral tooth in the right side should be considered. Dental Age has been developed by dentists specifically for professional and educational use (dental students). Always correlate the result with the patient’s clinical data. If you are a patient, always check with a doctor before making medical decisions.
