The story behind "Photo Journal”:
I am a person who likes to record my life by taking photos with my cell phone. As the saying goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words". Whether it's documenting three meals a day, today's outfit, places I've been to, people I've met, interesting things, or even where I parked my car, I'm used to snapping quick photos on my cell phone. Most of these photos are meant for myself and are not shared on social media.
I often come to look through these photos before going to bed, sitting on the toilet, flying on an airplane, or some spare moments, and reminisce about the past along with the images, a process that has quite a healing effect on me. Before "Photo Journal”, I used to go through the photos in my phone's albums, but the albums were cluttered with both screenshots and duplicates, and there was no way to record my mood, weather, or other thoughts at the time.
So I developed a prototype of "Photo Journal”, used it myself for a few months, and continued to improve it. Now, it has been officially released for iPhone and iPad. If you also like to record your life with photos, you may want to try this "Photo Journal” app. The basic features are totally free, while the Pro version is even more worthwhile and offers a 7-day free trial.
