Get in Balance provides a collection of Optokinetic (OPK) and other tools designed to be used for Vestibular Rehabilitation, and in particular for treatments for conditions such as Visual Vertigo (VV) and PPPD (Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness). It is essential these tools be used under the guidance of a Physiotherapist specialising in Vestibular Rehabilitation, and could be harmful rather than helpful if used incorrectly. Please seek medical advice if you are suffering balance or dizziness related issues, and you may find additional useful information at organisations such as the VEDA.
The application provides Horizontal and Vertical Optokinetic patterns (OPKs), Spinning Wheels and Letter Puzzles. It is highly configurable with Timers, Speed, Column Width, Directions etc
Get in Balance is not intended in any way to be a substitute for professional medical advice and should not be relied on as health or personal advice. Rather, it should only be used as directed by a qualified health professional, who should also be the source of information for any questions you may have regarding your health or a medical condition.
