The EL Family Toolkit app is an easy-to-access guide to increase knowledge and awareness of the U.S. school system. The EL Family Toolkit includes the latest tips, tools, and practical resources to support ELs enrolled in U.S. schools. Users can use the app to search for resources to assist EL families who are navigating through school enrollment, attendance, programs and services, extracurricular activities, and ways to support the safety, health, and success of ELs. EL families can find ideas on how to engage school staff, information on their rights in U.S. public schools, suggested questions to ask school staff, and browse quick tips by topic. The toolkit content is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, and Arabic. This FREE resource from the U.S. Department of Education (ED), is available in Arabic, English, Chinese, and Spanish.
