Lector COVID vs That Covid Life Usage & Stats

HOME
From the home screen, you will see the That Covid Life welcome message and, directly underneath, a horizontal scroll of the categories of posts shared on the app: news & updates, scientific library, videos, resources, PPE. When you tap on one of these categories, you will see a corresponding list of 5 posts of external links directly under the horizontal scroll. Simply tap on one of the posts to open the link in a web browser. As you scroll down, if a category contains more than 5 posts, you will be presented with a “see more” button at the bottom of the screen, allowing you to access the entire catalog of posts for that given category.
When you access a catalog, the total number of posts is displayed in the top left corner of the screen, while the filter icon is located in the top right corner. By tapping on the filter icon, it opens a menu allowing you to filter the posts in the catalog by tag, and depending on the category, by source as well. Once you have selected the filter(s), you have the option of resetting or applying them. If you choose to apply the filters, you will see the posts that match your selection, again displaying the corresponding number of posts in the top left corner and the filter icon in the top right corner. To exit the catalog, just tap on the back arrow at the top, which will take you back to the home screen.
You can pull down on the home screen to refresh the list of 5 posts for any category.
CONTRIBUTION FORM
Our built-in contribution form allows you to submit relevant content to us to be added to our database. You can send us tips about news articles, scientific papers, videos, upcoming events, or other resources related to COVID-19. You can suggest some PPE for us to review and even submit some of your own COVID-related original content. We will review all submissions carefully, and get back to you if we decide to include your contribution to our database.
Just fill in the required fields. We do not store your personal information and only ask for your name and e-mail address to communicate about the contribution you’re making. You select which category the content you’re providing falls under and write a description about the content. You may also provide the link to the content, which is optional.
SEARCH
You can access the search functionality via the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner of the home screen. From there, you can enter any COVID-related search term (e.g., “long covid,” “masks,” “clean air”) in order to get relevant results among the various content we have available. Like on the home screen, a horizontal scrollbar of the categories will appear at the top of the results, along with the total number of relevant posts in the top left corner, allowing you to focus on a specific category and further refine your search results.
SETTINGS
The settings view can be accessed via the cog icon in the top right corner of the home screen.
This will allow you to select the language of the app (English, Spanish, French, or Portuguese), and whether or not you would like to search our archive among all the languages we support in the search view.
ABOUT
The “about” view can be accessed via the info icon in the top right corner of the home screen. On this page, we offer a brief description about the purpose of our app and the links to our website and various social media accounts. We also provide a link to our support e-mail, which you can contact if you find any bugs or have any suggestions to improve the app.
