Welcome to Bent, a new platform that helps diverse queer communities come together and thrive.
From LGBTQ+ nightlife pop-ups and local activism to athletics leagues and book clubs, fans and followers, Bent makes it easy for folks in any queer community to connect with others who share meaningful things in common. And every community on Bent is led by passionate hosts who care about getting to know their members and connecting them with each other so they can make new friends.
FOR EVERYONE
• Bond with Your People: Dive confidently into any conversation across topic chats where you can hang out with others, coordinate plans and catch up on important updates.
• Send Private Messages: Get to know new friends better by chatting with other community members one-on-one or in small groups.
• Take It IRL: Rosters help you find new and nearby queer people in shared communities to make real-world friends.
• Express Yourself: Showcase your personality with fun, colorful profiles and custom moods that help people know how you're feeling wherever they find you in the app.
• Take Care of Each Other: Keep your community safe and supported with our easy-to-use reporting system that includes ways to send support resources when you’re worried about someone.
FOR HOSTS
• Create a Home for Your Queer Community: Help everyone in your community find and connect with one another and stay connected with you in a simple online space that encourages conversation and friendship.
• Get to Know Your Members: Custom onboarding questions help you get to know each member of your community and find new ways to engage with them and help them make friends.
• Grow at Your Own Pace: Make a private community and let people in as you review them — or create an open community when it’s the more the merrier.
• Share the Work: Set up your community with multiple clearly identified co-hosts so you can brainstorm and build together.
• Customize Your Guidelines: Maintain a healthy community with guidelines you set to help create a welcoming space for everyone. (But you can leave the heavy stuff to us!)

- Discover queer businesses near you and go support them. Help the community by adding photos and reviews to give people a sense of the vibe.
- Create a business profile and use Freddie to reach your audience. With a business profile you can post on the feed, create events, and create spaces.
- Discover local queer events or create your own events.
- Organize community spaces around topics you like. Each Space comes with chat rooms and event features.
- Share your gay thoughts via posts and add images, videos, voice notes, or run a poll. Now you can also save post drafts.
- Create a profile and personalize it with audio, text, images, or music tiles. You can also set your Top 8 connections on Freddie - very much like myspace.
- You can search for people or posts using hashtags and filters.
