This app is a tool for application on deepwater drilling operations (Oil & Gas).
About Riser Safety Margin:
The slight increase in mud weight needed to offset the loss in hydrostatic pressure when the riser is disconnected from the bop and the hydrostatic pressure of the mud to the mud line is replaced by the hydrostatic of the column of sea water.
Emergency disconnection can occur in blackout condition, failure of the dynamic positioning system, etc.
