Almee (an investigational medical device pending FDA clearance) is a digital therapeutic intended to provide cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to address symptoms of anxiety and to improve the quality of life in patients aged 22 and older with pulmonary fibrosis (PF).
How Almee works
The treatment takes nine weeks to complete and consists of seven Therapy modules and three Essentials modules. In the therapy program, you’ll learn about various topics such as motivation, feelings and behaviors, values and living in line with your personal values, mindfulness, dealing with troubling thoughts, and much more. The Essentials modules contain tools and information about physical activity, better sleep and nutrition, and how to manage PF symtoms. You’ll go through the Therapy modules sequentially, one by one, while you can work with the Essentials modules at any time.
