EasyPinger vs Ping - NS Usage & Stats
EasyPinger is a tiny little app that was designed to be the easiest way to check your device's connectivity status. Just open it up whenever in doubt to see if your Wi-Fi or cellular data connection behaves correctly – it will refresh connectivity status every time you open it, also regularly while open, or if you just tap the screen.
EasyPinger uses the same old Ping/ICMP to check connectivity with a server that is assumed to be always available, but simplifies the process by requiring no extra actions from you to perform a simple connection test.
