A comprehensive, carry-anywhere review of routine imaging procedures, projections, and positioning terminology.
Features:
• Each card includes a high-quality photograph of correct patient positioning with details of the projection and the corresponding X-ray, technical information, and image evaluation criteria
• Most cards include a high-resolution radiographic image and photographs demonstrating each position/projection
• Great for use as a radiography procedures course review or as a clinical refresher prior to taking a patient's X-ray
Lange Radiographic Positioning Flashcards can be used by radiography students as soon as they start Procedures I (depending on curriculum design, usually in mid to latter part of first semester) through the completion of the program. These flashcards can be used as study tools for written exams, preparation for clinical competency testing, and for last minute double-checking prior to taking an actual patient x-ray. As such, they are useful for classroom/study and as a handy pocket guide in clinical settings.
This app is very intuitive and easy to navigate, allowing you to browse the contents or search for topics. The powerful search tool gives you word suggestions that appear in the text as you type, so it is lightning fast and helps with spelling those long medical terms. The search tool also keeps a recent history of past search terms so you can go back to a previous search result very easily. You can also add notes to each flashcard, as well as bookmark flashcards as Know and Don't Know to help with studying. Many of the flashcards also have images that have labels you can turn on and off to aid with studying. You can also change the text size for easier reading.
After the app has been downloaded, no internet connection is needed to retrieve the content of the app. All of the text and images are available to you on your device anytime, anywhere, and lightning fast. This app is also automatically optimized for whatever size device you are currently using, either phone or tablet.
