Aum - The Divine Symbol vs Hands at Work Usage & Stats
AUM or OM is of paramount importance in Hinduism. This symbol is a sacred syllable representing Brahman, the impersonal Absolute of Hinduism — omnipotent, omnipresent, and the source of all manifest existence. Brahman, in itself, is incomprehensible; so a symbol becomes mandatory to help us realize the Unknowable. Om, therefore, represents both the unmanifest (nirguna) and manifest (saguna) aspects of God. That is why it is called pranava, to mean that it pervades life and runs through our prana or breath.
This application reveals important part of this divine symbol “AUM” that is:

My aim behind developing this iPhone application is to spread the awareness about this spiritual symbol of bliss. “AUM” The word represents God, when you say it in the proper way; you will feel that your entire body with all its cells has changed directions towards God.
According to Katha Upanishad:
"The goal which all the Vedas declare, which all austerities aim at, and which men desire when they lead the life of continence … is Om. This syllable Om is indeed Brahman. Whosoever knows this syllable obtains all that he desires. This is the best support; this is the highest support. Whosoever knows this support is adored in the world of Brahma."

"Receive regular prayer updates from Hands at Work in Africa. Join us in praying for vulnerable children, their families, those who lovingly care for them as well as the Hands at Work community in Africa and around the world.
""Prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.""
— Ephesians 6:18 (The Message)
Vision:
We envision the local Church in Africa effectively caring for the orphaned, the widowed and the dying, and unified in this mission with the Church outside Africa.
Mission:
Our mission is to, through relationship with the local Church in Africa, challenge, encourage, develop and support the ministry of servanthood among those in need in their community through the replication of the Hands at Work community intervention model.
We believe the biblical mandate to care for the orphaned, the widowed and the dying is not only for the Church in Africa, but also elsewhere, and Hands at Work will be a prophetic voice to the Churches outside Africa, challenging them to fulfill their mandate."
