Find My Understudied Genes (FMUG) is a rationally-designed tool to helps biologists identify understudied genes and characterize their tractability for future research.
Users submit a list of human genes (presumably from a high-throughput -omics experiment) and can filter these genes down based on a large list of factors, including:
- Number of articles about gene
- Probability of differential expression
- Homology in model organisms
- Availability of reagents
- Number of articles about relationship between gene and disease

Learn how to Karyotype or practice your skills using simulated chromosomes. The Karyotyping app provides users with three levels to practice karyotyping individuals. The app also includes a study section, a tutorial and background information on the basics of karyotyping.
