Ear Training - Music Skills vs Real Ear Training Usage & Stats

Ear Training - Music Skills is an app that helps users develop their musical skills by challenging them to identify musical notes by ear. The app has a Train page where users can listen to a reference note and then play their guesses on an on-screen piano. The app will play one to five random notes, depending on the user's selection, and the user must match their guesses to the reference note. If the user gets the answer right, they can press Shuffle, to get a new set of notes. If the challenge is too difficult, the user can press Answers to reveal the correct notes. The app also has a switch to toggle between flat and sharp spelling for the on-screen note names, and a switch to determine whether or not the reference note changes when the user shuffles. There is also an option to turn on a Random number of random notes switch, which hides the number of notes from the user and changes it each time they shuffle, in order to help them get used to distinguishing different chords without knowing the number of notes in advance.

Welcome to Real Ear Training, a comprehensive music education tool that can help you improve your listening and score reading skills. The app is designed for musicians of all skill levels and is split into multiple sections to help you focus on specific areas of improvement. Notes recognition - train yourself on recognizing bass and treble clef notes. Key Signature recognition - use flashcards to practice identifying key signatures. Interval recognition - improve your ability to recognize both simple and compound intervals. Chord recognition - learn to recognize chords in Major, Minor, Diminished, and Augmented variations. Piano Keyboard - this feature includes a full 88 keys with realistic sounds, support for multiple simultaneous key presses, and the ability to display the keys in multiple notation styles including English, German, Italian, Japanese, Indian, Korean, and Cyrillic. You can also zoom in and out for a closer look at the keys. Mode/Scale recognition - learn to recognize different scales including Major, Minor, and Pentatonic Scales, and Diatonic Modes. For each section, you have the option to filter the questions to suit your needs and skill level, and you can choose to train your hearing or your score reading skills. In Test Mode, you'll be presented with a predefined number of questions in random order, with an emphasis on the questions you answered correctly the least. Your progress is recorded in the charts for easy tracking. In Practice Mode, all questions are presented in random order, and when you reach the last question, the cycle starts over automatically. This mode is great for more casual practice without the pressure of tracking your progress. If you find any mistakes or have any suggestions for new features, you can use the Report button located above each question to let us know. We're always looking for ways to improve the app and make it the best it can be for our users. Thank you for choosing Real Ear Training!
