Use the free app to help you discover the Dresden City Museum and the Dresden City Art Museum, both housed at the Landhaus building! Select one of the Audio Guide tours on offer and enjoy a guided tour of the permanent exhibitions hosted at each museum. Audio content, pictures and brief videos provide you with key information on selected objects and give you fascinating insights into Dresden’s cultural history, stretching back over 800 years.
In the app you can choose between the recommended tours called Dresden History, Art in Dresden, and the Highlights Tour. The app additionally contains tours in easy-to-understand language and in German sign language, as well as in English and Ukrainian.
The app also provides you with important information for your visit covering everything from the museum opening hours, admission prices and directions for how to get there.

Four astronomical instruments await you on this journey. They come from one of the oldest museums in the world: the Mathematisch-Physikalischer Salon in Dresden, Germany.
You'll learn how to use these historical instruments (a nocturnal, a sundial, a celestial globe, and an astrolabe) and be able to apply them in the real sky — right now, wherever you are. You can make use of 20 guided units or set out on your own in the new Exploration Mode. While you're exploring, you'll also come to see how the movements of the heavens arise: of the Sun, the Moon, and the stars.
