Any citizens, who is unable to afford legal services then he has a right to free legal aid at the cost of the state. Through this app anyone from any part of the country may apply for legal aid, related services and also for permissible assistance from the Supreme Court Legal Services Committee, 37 State Legal Services Authorities, 39 High Court Legal Services Committees, 672 District Legal Services Authorities and 2282 Taluka Legal Services Committees. NALSA Legal Services Mobile App to facilitate following functions:
1. Any citizen may apply for seeking legal assistance, legal advice and for redressal of any other grievances.
2. Any citizen may track his application submitted for legal aid & advice and other grievances.
3. A Reminder can be sent to Legal services Authorities and Clarifications can also be submitted.
4. Any victim of crime or his relative/ friend can apply as applicant for victim compensation.
5. May file Application for Mediation, in particular for pre-institution mediation in commercial matters through this Mobile App.
Besides above, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), Helpline assistance and assistance through e-mail & WhatsApp are also provided.
