Prefusion Nutrition Tracker vs Calorie Counter: Macro Tracker Usage & Stats

The Prefusion Health Nutrition Tracker provides a simple way to consume and track your daily macronutrients and calories. Our food tracking system is focused on creating a way for users to hit their daily nutrition targets consistency using a unique tracking method for each macronutrient category. In our experience, consistency is the key to changing your body and without a reliable, easy tracking system, many people fall short of creating metabolic adaptation and never reach their goals. The app removes the stress of precise performance that other apps demand. Instead, our system creates a scenario in which you are performing within a caloric range of where you need to be for your body to seek fat loss, muscle gain or improved energy, sleep, digestion, and athletic performance. By focusing less on calories and more on macronutrients, while creating a visually friendly and seamless system, our app enables users to easily reach their goals. Access to Registered Dietitians and Health Coaches With the Prefusion Health Nutrition Tracker you are not alone in your pursuit of your goals. Gain access to our team of Registered Dietitians and Health Coaches, who are ready to answer any questions you may have, including: • How much to eat throughout the day • How much to allocate to each meal • How to adjust your intake if you are failing to reach your goals • How to improve digestion • How to avoid missing meals • Food swaps and convenient hacks Bio-Feedback Tracking Body composition change also requires improving in other areas of health outside of nutrition. The app will also track bio-feedback on sleep, energy, exercise and stress relief. These factors play a critical role in helping your body change effectively, so understanding your performance in these categories helps create consistency and awareness on where to improve. Calculating Your Daily Intake: Our app will calculate your resting metabolic rate in order to accurately calculate your daily calorie needs for your goals. When selecting your goal, you have 3 goal criteria to choose from: • Fat Loss • Muscle Gain • Maintenance A 4th option “Custom” will allow you to manually enter your daily calorie target as well if you choose not to select from the 3 preset goals. Once you select your goal, you will have one more option to select from, your macronutrient composition. The percentages highlighted green denote where Prefusion Health suggests starting before making any adjustments. Once your goal is selected and macronutrient percentages are selected, you will receive your daily “Bucket” allocation to begin your nutrition journey with Prefusion Health! Food Tracking There are several ways to input your food, including the ability to save your favorite meals and favorite foods for easy entry access. You can also manually enter food using a food label or the visual guides provided in the app via our Custom Meal entry. Unsure how to enter your food, use our chat feature or take a photo of your plate and automatically submit it to Prefusion Health for feedback on the composition of the plate. The food search option will access a comprehensive database of foods and will provide a long list of food options to choose from when searching. Lastly, the app has a scan barcode scan feature when you have a food item with a barcode available to scan. Additionally, the app will track your daily water consumption and vegetable intake as their own categories. Performance Tracking The best way to improve is to see how you are performing on a weekly basis. Our app tracks your performance each week in 4 major categories, which are compared to your target performance in each category: • Daily Calories Consumed • Daily Carbohydrates Consumed • Daily Fat Consumed • Daily Protein Consumed
