The app provides high-quality historic images from the newly created Getty Images "Black History & Culture Collection," along with narratives for each of the 70 points-of-interest included in the app. Users can see images of the events and figures from Harlem's past (and present) and read about these vital events, from the well-known to the previously unseen or untold. The app takes you to the world famous Apollo Theater and includes rarely seen back-stage images of performers such as The Temptations and Smokey Robinson.
