The City of Albany, GA Police Department’s new Mobile App was designed to engage & partner with the citizens of the City of Albany/Dougherty, GA. The mission behind this new mobile app is fundamental, the APD needed its own communication platform to connect with our citizens where they are getting information - their smart devices! The new APD mobile app will include, but not limited to, BOLO & Most Wanted push alerts, citizen ability to submit anonymous tips, gang prevention, important emergency push notifications and much more! Citizens may submit a crime tip directly through the app, as well as see and share social media posts. By empowering people through technology, the City of Albany Police Department will be able to better protect all of our communities. This app is not meant to be used to report emergency situations.
