RPI Library Self-Checkout vs Asound Usage & Stats
All patrons with an RPI Library borrowing account may use the RPI Library Self-Checkout app to check out items from the Folsom Library. The Architecture Library is not included.
The app will automatically recognize your library location. Download the app to your phone, open the app, and login with your RCS ID and password. Use your phone's camera to take pictures of the barcodes on the items you want to check out. Note that you will also need to deactivate the check-out items at the deactivation station before leaving the library. Some collections will still need to be checked out at the library service desk.

Asound provides its users with an understanding of the accumulated noise experienced, its levels, and where it happened throughout the day.
We are rarely aware of how much stress is caused due to accumulated noises we are exposed to in our surroundings. In addition to stress, there are levels of noise that can cause actual harm to the hearing, temporally or permanently.
Asound provides noise exposure awareness through real-time decibel (dB) level indications as well as the recorded daily journey displayed on a map assisting with growing user awareness and daily planning.
Users of Asound will be provided with the ability to contribute to the greater good and assist in general understanding of sound exposure types, how they impact people, and even how media-generated audio may influence behavior.
A part of the Asound community will be invited to take an active part by registering and contributing to diverse topics of interest to them.
