Any emergency that you send through GulfSAR will send all relevant data first through your device’s internet connection (if available) and then via SMS text message through the “Text to 911” service (where available), thus increasing the odds even during natural disasters that your situation will be communicated to emergency responders. Along with your GPS coordinates and current emergency situation, some of the information that you can optionally include are: - Name - Age - Gender - Medications that you currently take - Important Medical Conditions or History - Allergies - Special Needs or Considerations All of this information is kept securely on your smartphone and will ONLY be sent to emergency responders to help them better respond to your situation.
