iReflections is a journal built to record your most personal thoughts with elegant simplicity and utmost security. If you’re looking for an app to store them while still being able to share them with those closest to you, do yourself a favor and check out iReflections. iReflections is the journal app you’ve always wanted. It has an uncluttered UI combined with bullet proof data entry and storage. It leverages Apple’s iCloud technology to store your data behind Apple’s world-class secure cloud storage system. Unlike other social networking companies, Apple is committed to the privacy of those who use its devices. iReflections benefits from that as all of the data it stores stays within Apple’s ecosystem. Your entries are yours: no one else can get to them…. Unless you want to. In which case, sharing an entry is just a button tap away. While the app has a simple interface, there are — under the hood — powerful technologies at work which allow you to focus on writing. It offers some impressive features: • Want to synchronize your entries across multiple devices? iReflections does. • Want to share your thoughts with a friend or on social media? It does that. • Want to dictate an entry rather than write it? Yes, it does that too. • Do you want to set a goal and have a target date to accomplish it. Yep. Does that. (Reminders too.) • It can also link a photo to an entry so you can take a picture and tell a story about it then save and print it. • Do you get blinded by a bright user interface in a dark room when using an app? iReflections takes care of you there too with the ability to automatically switch to dark-mode in low-light situations. It’s a universal app, so both iPhone and iPad are supported. A desktop app is planned. Some things it won’t do are nice as well… There are no monthly subscriptions. There is a one time in-app purchase to enable sharing across devices and one for multiple journals. These are some of the additional features planned for the app: The ability to create a dynamic sharing link between a group of users so when you create an entry and publish it, all of the linked users get it automatically. An intuitive search of journal contents by word, date range, and location. Effortless geo-tagging of where each entry/photo is taken. The ability to select a group of entries by search criteria which can then be printed or saved to a single PDF document. Last, but not least of all is a MacOS desktop version of the app which will sync with your iOS devices. **** IT CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING IN-APP PURCHASES All of the purchases are one-time only purchases. For $2.99 you can buy the ability to create an unlimited number of journals. So if you want one for business notes and one for exercising and one for your personal thoughts, you can do it and have them all readily available to you. For $4.99 you can buy the ability to synchronize your entries with all of your iOS devices. So you create an entry on one device, it will show up on all of them. These purchase prices are in US dollars. If you buy the app in other stores, the price will vary.
