GeoStories use GPS location technology to create a powerful audio drama experience based in a particular location. They are enhanced by rich visual content and AR, all accessible via the app. Stories can be experienced in locations or remotely, enabling you to step into the story and feel immersed, wherever you are. The app is GPS enabled. This is to show you relevant content based on your location along the trail and immediate area. The app also uses Location Services to determine your location. It will trigger notifications when you are close to a location of interest. As with all apps that use location, please note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. GeoStories requests access to the user’s camera, for the purpose of viewing Augmented Reality. Users need to ensure that they are in a safe place to view any Augmented Reality.
