This Comprehensive CJKI Vietnamese-Japanese Dictionary, which covers general vocabulary, technical terms, and proper nouns, is a greatly expanded version of the CJKI Vietnamese-Japanese Dictionary first released over 10 years ago. Containing over 150,000 entries -- more than five times the number in the original dictionary -- this comprehensive dictionary is ideally suited for advanced learners or those who need to use Vietnamese for work or business, such as Vietnamese-to-Japanese translators In addition, the structure of entries was reexamined and subdivided in order to better help convey the meaning of each word. Lastly, much effort has gone into incorporating as many technical terms as possible, making this ideal for translators. These technical terms cover over 30 distinct fields, including medicine, finance, engineering, sports, and many more. This dictionary is a collaborative effort between The CJK Dictionary Institute, Inc. and Yutaka Inoue, chief editor of TỪ ĐIỂN ĐIỆN TỬ TỔNG HỢP IN LẦN THỨ 2 (越日・日越総合電子辞典 第二版), who is continually working on bringing the dictionary up to date and expanding it. CJKV Dict (中日韓越辭典) is a smart multilingual dictionary for learners of Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese. It returns results in Chinese characters (漢字, called "Hànzì" in Mandarin Chinese, "Kanji" in Japanese, "Hanja" in Korean and "Hán tự" in Vietnamese) in all four languages, and automatically converts simplified Chinese characters and simplified Kanji (Shinjitai) to traditional Chinese characters.
