CasualVocab Widget - Japanese vs BiteSize Kanji Flashcards Lite Usage & Stats
"CasualVocab Widget - Japanese" helps you improve your Japanese vocabulary by combining ACTIVE and PASSIVE learning.
ACTIVE learning through studying with flashcards or similar methods is an intuitive part of language acquisition. The substantial advantages of PASSIVE learning, however, are often not considered. This is best achieved by using our smartphones or tablets, which we already use on the daily, as a display surface for unfamiliar vocabulary.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:
Place the CasualVocab widget as prominently as possible on your home screen:
Every hour - or every day, depending on your chosen widget settings - the widget will display new vocabulary that has not been marked as learned, including its translation.
Practice vocabulary in practice mode:
By doing so, you will gradually improve your ability to memorize the vocabulary. As soon as you finish the learning set, switch to another one.
Mark vocabulary as learned:
If you mark vocabulary as learned, it will no longer be displayed by the widget, ensuring that you are surrounded by relevant vocabulary only.
WHAT YOU GET:
Learning sets - both language level-based (N5 to N1) and topic-based (e.g. food). New learning sets are added regularly.
Fast support & easy contact - there is only one developer behind CasualVocab. If you have any requests or suggestions, do not hesitate to contact me. Feel free to support me by donating through the app if you want to, otherwise just have fun using the app.
Data security - no data of yours is stored outside of your device. You also do not need to create an account to use the app.
Very little advertising - to pay accounts and hosting, I am using Google AdMob to display ad banners. This way the app remains free.
Thank you for supporting CasualVocab. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to contact me via email.
