JAX DYNAMICS : Compander vs ERS_250 Usage & Stats

The JAX DYNAMICS : Compander - a combination of a compressor and expander - is a single band dynamics audio processor, has different stereo operation modi (like independent stereo, linked stereo, independent mid/side and linked mid/side processing) and has a parallel processing option (mix) too.  The JAX Compander is a dynamics processor in AudioUnit (AUv3) format. The audio unit itself (an app extension) is embedded into a small demo app. This is required for app distribution on Apple platforms. Installing the app will make the audio unit available for system wide usage with audio unit hosts (music apps), which support loading 3rd party app extensions in AUv3 format. There is a manual for our Dynamics Series Basic located at : https://audio.digitster.com/jax-dynamics-compander A basic demonstration video for the dynamics series can be seen here : https://youtu.be/hOwM1t6jYes?si=gqlpp6oQRXtUuj8V This app is truly 'universal', meaning, unit is available for : - MacOS (Silicon) - iOS (iPhone) - iPadOS (iPads) - visionOS (Apple Vision Pro) Please note, that AudioUnits (AUv3) require a dedicated supporting host application to perform.

The ERS 250 reverb audio plugin was originally designed and sold by Harrie Munnik and his Dutch company EmptyRoomSystems. DDMF, having been a part in the development of the first version some years ago, is proud to carry on the legacy by distributing and further developing the set of ERS plugins. This unit is a faithful replication of the first digital hardware reverb ever made, the EMT 250. Only 250 units of that legendary studio tool have ever been produced… needless to say, the availability as an audio plugin has received an enthusiastic welcome by the audio engineering and production community. Now this plugin is finally available for compatible iOS hosts that support either AUv3 or InterAppAudio. Features: - Careful reproduction of the original schematics - Adjustable reverb decay time (from 0.4 to 5 seconds), low frequency response, high frequency response, and predelay - Additional low-pass filter to create darker sounds - Dry-Wet ratio adjustable - Alternative “modern” schematics available
