[About]
The Jockey Club TourHeart+ Project (JCTH+) is developed by the Diversity and Well-being Laboratory in Department of Psychology, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. It aims to provide novel and personalized online self-help resources to facilitate progressive improvement of your mental well-being and self-care skills.
JCTH+ recommends different levels of interventions based on your mental health assessment results. The resources include online courses, relaxing exercises, interactive virtual companion and different events.
To ensure the quality and effectiveness of our services, all exercises and courses were created under the supervision of clinical psychologists and are based on the latest clinical therapeutic protocols and psychological theories.

4) ONLINE WEBINARS: Sharing from clinical psychologists, scholars and experienced practitioners in various fields
5) PSYCHOLOGICAL SELF-HELP COURSES
Clinical psychologists will guide you to understand and embrace your emotions. Courses include “mindfulness-based training”, “rumination-focused cognitive behavioral training”, “transdiagnostic cognitive behavioral training”, and “cognitive behavorial training for insomnia”. These courses help you to reduce being led around by your emotions, discovering the reasons why emotional resistance leads to more suffering or why we are so unmotivated to do anything.
6) GUIDED SELF-HELP AND GROUP THERAPY
Complement your self-help courses with our "Mindfulness Group Practice" and "Group Therapy." These supportive spaces empower you to apply emotional regulation techniques effectively and navigate life's challenges with greater resilience.
7) MENTAL HEALTH EXERCISES
The platform houses more than 100 different exercises, including mindfulness, relaxation exercises, thought observation, mood diary and virtual planning exercises. You can also set reminders to make self-care a habit.

Do you want to understand your mental wellness with direct counseling service simply through mobile apps? The app ("Counseline") of The Mental Health Association of Hong Kong can help the people who care about their mental wellness to have better understanding of their own. This is an apps to serve personal “counsel” service through mobile “ON Line” and aiming for elucidating one’s negative emotion to become positive one and have mental health with an happy life.
The functions of “Counseline” include:
1. Online Counseling Service : our counsellors provide counsel service to the people with emotional disturbance through online service
2. Mini Game: apply “Cognitive Bias Modification, CBM” to design a mini game to guide the participants to become positive thinking approach
3. Self-tests: test and evaluate the degree of depression and stress with simple self-test questions
4. MHAHK Insight : provides updated representational information of the Association
5. Useful Community Resources : provides mental health community resources and hotlines
The Mental Health Association of Hong Kong was founded in 1954, is a non-profit making organization with the primary objective of educating the general public on mental health and providing rehabilitation services for persons with history of mental illness or mental handicap. Following the emerging of mobile apps and e-media today, “Counseline” becomes the most efficient and effective choice for the people not only to access the most updated information of mental health, but also receive the immediate support services from different aspect of their needs.
