Explore the wonders of North Carolina with this fun and engaging augmented reality experience. Designed for kids age 5+ and their grown-ups, the app takes you to historical and cultural attractions across the state. Highlights include interactive games with the carnivorous Venus flytrap and aviation pioneers Orville and Wilbur Wright as well as trips to the North Carolina Zoo, the North Carolina Symphony and a Civil Rights monument in Raleigh. This App, which operates without an internet connection, helps find and identify plants. When you give the App information about a plant, such as its location, flower color and the time of year, the App will quickly show you which plants match your selections.
The App includes 3,554 species of plants found in North Carolina. Overall, 1,746 are "Wildflowers", 318 are shrubs, 256 are broadleaf trees, 30 are conifers, 87 are vines, 4 are cactus, 513 are grass-like, 93 are fern-like, 330 are moss-like, 38 are seaweed and 301 are lichen.
