AP Physics Guided Sims vs CloudLabs Energy and Power Usage & Stats

The AP Physics simulation app will help you prepare for your AP Physics exam and other related exams by running real-time experiments linked to high-quality visualizations of physics concepts! This app is designed by a cognitive science team and engineers specialized in science education. It uses a learning framework designed to be 700% better at teaching STEM than current simulations and animated modules for STEM learning, backed by cognitive research from Columbia University!!! It’s currently focused on Unit 1 (Kinematics) and there are more coming up this academic year to finish the AP Physics curriculum! Use it to prepare for your upcoming physics exam, or simply to learn more about physics in a fun, visual, and interactive way! KEY FEATURES: *Related concepts taught in a similar environment* Many concepts in physics are related to each other, even when they’re not conventionally taught together. That’s why in this app we’ve come up with one environment in which you can study all physics concepts such as accelerated motion, free fall or projectile motion. Having one environment makes it easier to see how everything’s related to each other. *Have fun throwing blocky around to learn physics* Blocky is our awesome partner. Blocky lets us throw it around, drag it, drop it, and all sorts of fun gestures to keep learning physics a fun experience. Drag, drop, slide and swipe your way into the world of physics. *Linked visually graphs, equations, and exercises* Graphs and equations are directly linked to everything we do with Blocky and to each other. For each experiment, we’ll have instantaneous access to the relevant equations and graphs of that unit and see their behavior. There are also a bunch of exercises to challenge your mind and test your knowledge. *Guided learning* Every simulation is a guided experience so you don’t feel lost at any point during your learning process. Seamlessly navigate between experiments and exercises, all within the same app. *Run your own experiments and review them* There are also free exercises in which you can get access to everything learned to that point. After you’re done with any simulation they’re stored for future reviews at any moment in time. *Quizzes tailored to AP Physics curriculum* More than 50 questions are available in quizzes that test what you learn in each simulation. All are directly inspired by actual AP Physics questions. * Completely Free * The AP Physics app is FREE, but using the app will help us attract funding to build more apps. Help democratize STEM learning and education all around the world :D

This simulator features a scale model of a roller coaster with a free fall incline and a straight section of track. According to the mass parameter given by the simulator, the engine power must be configured to raise the wagon to the top of the mountain and modify the length of the straight section so that the wagon stops due to the action of friction.
